There I was cleaning my room several months ago. Sometimes we stumble upon things that we never knew we kept. Several items caught my attention that I decided to take pictures of before I threw it away.
These was my ID back when I became part of the Engineering Student Council in 2006. It was used for the graduation of engineering batch 2006. I was the one who took the photos in most of our IDs. I miss those times.
This was a campaign material used before the elections. I wasn't really able to use it often because I was a little bit shy in doing the pulitiko approaches but confident enough that I will get the votes that I need to win. I did get the highest number of votes XD
Then, these are the ID laces that were popular back in 2006. I was able to have three (3): UP ESC, College of Engineering & CURSOR. Ang pangit pa ng laces nun.
This is a gift from Claire. I told her I love Carnations. If I remember correctly, she placed this on my pigeon hole on my birthday. OR she could've given this to me in person on the summer of my graduation along with a large hat.
And lastly, an apology note I received from Lyn, the office-mate that I tried to court. It reads "I never meant to push you away to this extent. I'm sorry you had to like someone as socially awkward and aloof as I am. Good luck with your plans." I never replied or even made an initiative to talk to her or to say good bye to her. I was kinda pissed off with the way she treated me. I was trying to be nice and she would often just loose her composure whenever I was trying to make some small talk. I really liked her before. This happened in 2007. Damn cultural differences..
Its nice to see old stuff but sometimes we just have to re-live the moment for a while then move on and throw those sentimental objects in order for us to have room for changes in our lives.
